About District Life Online

District Life Online is the internet version of Canterbury City Council’s magazine published for residents, businesses and visitors to the Canterbury district.

This site contains a regularly updated mixture of council and community news, events and regular features about the people of the district - it's a quality read with plenty of colour to reflect the rich variety and pattern of life in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and the surrounding area.

District Life Online is written and designed by the council's Communications Unit and printed in Essex by Polestar Group. The magazine is part-funded by the council and part-funded by sale of advertising.

Royal Mail delivers printed copies of District Life magazine to every household and business in the CT1 to CT6 postcode areas in the first or second week of March, June, September and December.
